SOME THINGS I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT

Some quotes I've come across recently that really stuck out to me:

"Patriotism is not enough, we must love all men."

I recently came across a talk given by Elder Wirthlin, who is one of my favorites. He said, "No matter how dark our Fridays may be, Sunday will come." I love that message of hope and faith, and the analogy to the Savior's Atonement. When I have felt hopeless for one reason or another, this quote comes to mind and sure enough, it always gets better.

"That they may see His face in ours."(in reference to our children)
I've decided that this is my theme for the year. I want my children to see Him in my face, my eyes, my actions, and my words.
